Efficacy (indications): Pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens (excluding laying hens): Treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive or Gram-negative bacteria.
Ingredients: Each Vial contains:
Ampicillin Sodium….1gm (pot.), 2gm (pot.), 5gm (pot.), 10gm (pot.), 12.5gm (pot.)
Dissolve in water for injection and inject intramuscularly.
1. Pigs, cattle, and sheep: inject 10-20 mg per kg of body weight daily for 2-3 days. Increase or decrease the dose depending on the animal species, body weight, and symptoms.
2. For intravenous injection, dilute with 20-40 mL of physiological saline solution, distilled water for injection, or glucose solution for injection (5% or 20%), then slowly inject (3-5 minutes) or add to the drip for injection.
3. Chickens: inject 10-20 mg per kg of body weight daily for 2-3 days.
When Ampicillin Sodium and Marek's vaccine diluent are mixed,
For example: 2 gm: 16 mL of water for injection + 64 mL of Marek's vaccine diluent
5Gm: 40mL water for injection + 160mL Marek's vaccine diluent
10 gm: 80 mL of water for injection + 320 mL of Marek's vaccine diluent
12.5 gm: 100 mL of water for injection + 400 mL of Marek's vaccine diluent
After mixing evenly, inject 0.2 mL of the mixture into each chicken.
